Texas A&M is losing another five-star defensive lineman to the transfer portal. A day after Walter Nolen announced his intention to transfer from the Aggies, LT Overton did the same Tuesday evening. Overton will have two years of eligibility remaining at his next school.
Overton made one start over 12 appearances this season, recording 17 tackles and three quarterback hurries. The 6-foot-5, 265-pound started three games over 11 appearances as a freshman last year, tallying three stops for a loss and a sack as part of 31 total tackles.
Overton signed with the Aggies as the No. 32 overall player and No. 5 strongside defensive end in the 2022 class. The Milton, Georgia native chose Texas A&M over Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Oregon among others.
