Illinois freshman point guard Skyy Clark officially entered the transfer portal Monday morning after initially announcing his intentions on Sunday.
This season, Clark pumped in seven points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 13 games for the Fighting Illini but left the team just after Christmas for “personal reasons.”
Clark originally committed to Kentucky in 2020, picking the Wildcats over North Carolina, Memphis, and UCLA.
Then in March of 2022, he decommitted from the Wildcats and picked Illinois a month later. Clark has already scheduled a visit to Louisville this week, per a source.
Clark finished ranked No. 40 overall in the Rivals 150 for 2022.
