A third-year sophomore for the Sooners, Dennis did not see the field in the 2020 or 2021 seasons. He did appear in six games this season, mostly on special teams.

South Florida went 1-11 this season, including 0-8 in American Athletic Conference play, leading to a change in leadership in the Bulls football program.

Alex Golesh was introduced as USF’s new head coach on Dec. 5, the day the NCAA transfer portal window opened. His secondary needed reinforcements and Dennis will get an opportunity to compete for a starting job under a new coaching staff.
