Last season Addison’s receiving yardage (1,593) and touchdown catches (17) rank second in Pitt season annals, trailing only Larry Fitzgerald (1,672 yards and 22 TDs in 2003). Addison led the Panthers with 1,834 all-purpose yards. He gained 56 yards and a touchdown on seven rushes (8.0 avg.) on the year. He began returning punts in the late in the season and averaged an impressive 15.4 yards on 12 returns (185 total yards).

Following last season Addison watched his position coach leave for Texas and his O-Coordinator leave. Thursday he watched as his quarterback, Kenny Pickett, became the Pittsburgh Steelers’ first round draft pick.

Now, Addison is making his move.

Chris Peak, Publisher of Panther-Lair.com, offered his thoughts on Addison hitting the portal.

“The reigning Biletnikoff Award winner is the Panthers' best offensive weapon and best overall player, and his continued high level of play was crucial to the team's efforts to repeat as ACC champions. Pitt has other talented receivers on the team, including Akron transfer Konata Mumpfield, but there's only one Jordan Addison.”
