Bamba averaged 15.8 points while shooting 42.6 percent overall, 37.2 percent from three and 73 percent from the line in 2022-23. He added 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

The 6-foot-5 wing excels around the basket, finishing through contact with either hand. He has range out to the three-point line and was particularly successful off the catch, hitting 43% of his catch-and-shoot threes a season ago. Bamba has the ability to post up smaller players and has shown an array of moves, including fade-aways and step-backs.

Bamba was a consensus top 15 transfer, with some outlets having him in the top 10. This is a good get for Villanova and should help as the 'Cats look to bounce back from a disappointing 2022-23 season.
