The 6-foot, 165-pounder was limited to action in only four November games and missed the remainder of the season due to a foot injury. In those four games Miller averaged 18.1 points, 5.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds and made 51.9 percent (27-of-52) of his shots.

Miller entered the NCAA transfer portal on March 13.

In October, the Chicago native was named to the preseason All-MAC Second Team. In the 2021-22 season, Miller led the Chippewas in points (394) and assists (139) on the way to becoming an All-MAC honorable mention selection and an All-Freshman team honoree.
