Two days after entering the transfer portal, former Washington wide receiver Johntay Cook is set to visit Arizona State per reports.
Cook’s stint with the Huskies was extremely brief, committing in December and being dismissed from the team for undisclosed reasons in January.
Before Washington, Cook had a limited role at Texas, posting eight catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns in 2024.
Since then, Cook has run into a couple of legal issues with two arrests in February.
The 6-foot, 170-pound wide receiver will have three years of eligibility remaining wherever he ultimately lands.
Cook was a five-star prospect coming out of DeSoto (Texas) High School, checking in at No. 24 overall in the Top 100 for 2023.
