A day after throwing his name into the transfer portal, former Wisconsin tight end Tanner Koziol has committed to Houston. The 6-foot-7, 235-pound junior will have one year of eligibility with the Cougars.
Koziol’s pledge to Willie Fritz makes sense since he visited Fritz and Co. before committing to Wisconsin.
Koziol never played a season with the Badgers. He dominated at Ball State before his commitment to Wisconsin back in December, posting 94 catches for 839 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024, which led to him being named All-MAC honors.
For his career, Koziol has amassed 163 catches for 1,507 yards.
Now, Koziol will try and improve an aerial attack that amassed just 1,832 yards and nine touchdowns in 2024.
