Illinois adds commit from Colorado State TE transfer Tanner Arkin

Illinois added to their tight end depth on Wednesday with the commitment of former Colorado State product Tanner Arkin.

Arkin took an official visit with the Fighting Illini over the weekend and will enroll at mid-year with three years of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-4, 245-pound talent is coming off a 2022 season where he hauled in 15 catches for 131 yards.

There was a lot of power five intrigue surrounding Arkin since he entered the transfer portal with the likes of Missouri, Oklahoma State, Pitt, and others extending offers.
