A former four-star prospect, Webb signed with the Tigers in the class of 2020 over the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State and many other Power Five schools. However, he redshirted the 2020 season and appeared in just three games last fall due to injuries.

LSU announced on July 21 that Webb and fellow linebacker Antoine Sampah had medically retired from the program. Sampah entered the transfer portal on Aug. 30.

Webb will not be eligible to play for a new school until next fall. He will have four seasons of eligibility remaining.
