It was one of the biggest shocks of this portal cycle when Oklahoma star offensive lineman Cayden Green entered the transfer portal. Green made a huge impact in his first season with the Sooners. He started seven games for Oklahoma and would be its only returning starter from much of the 2023 season.
Rivals can report that Green is currently on a visit to Oregon. After he checks out coach Dan Lanning’s program he will visit a school familiar to him. Green is also scheduled to visit Missouri, a school that was heavily involved in his recruitment the first time around.
Green was rated by Rivals as a four-star high school recruit. He held over 30 scholarship offers the first time around.
The 6-foot-5, 311-pound lineman earned a 69.5 pass-blocking grade and a 49.4 run-blocking mark, according to Pro Football Focus. Oklahoma could be replacing its entire offensive line this offseason.
