Transfer Tracker: Florida adds another Auburn lineman

The transfer portal never stops grinding. Florida continued to be active in the portal, adding Auburn transfer defensive lineman Tyrone Truesdell, who is eligible immediately for the Gators.
Recruiting: Truesdell took an official visit to Auburn during the last weekend before National Signing Day, which led to his commitment to the Tigers. He also considered Florida, Ole Miss, Kentucky and Louisville.
At Auburn: Truesdell earned immediate playing time with the Tigers, but enjoyed his best two seasons in 2019 and 2020, when he totaled 53 tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks and one fumble recovery.
Farrell’s Take: This is a really nice get for the Gators as Truesdell has proven he can make an impact in the SEC and disrupt from the interior. The Florida defense looks okay on paper but honestly they need more bodies so this will help depth.
