Washington was dealt a tough transfer blow on Monday night as defensive end Sav'ell Smalls announced his intentions to enter the portal.

Smalls was rated the No. 48 prospect in the 2020 recruiting class and was a huge signing for the Huskies that year.

While his collegiate career hasn't quite lived up the prep hype, Smalls offers plenty of experience, appearing in 29 total games during his three seasons while totaling 32 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one fumble recovery.

He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
