A day after losing quarterback Jaden Rashada to the transfer portal,. Arizona State’s passing game is set to take another hit. According to reports Friday, star receiver Elijhah Badger is set to enter the portal. The redshirt senior will have one year of eligibility remaining at his next school.
Despite Arizona State’s inconsistent quarterback play last season, Badger led the Sun Devils with 65 receptions for 713 yards and three touchdowns over 11 games. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound receiver also had 11 carries for 51 yards and a touchdown on the ground and averaged 28.9 yards on 20 kickoff returns. Badger also put together a solid season in 2022, recording 70 catches for 866 yards and seven touchdowns.
Badger signed with Arizona State as the No. 132 overall player and No. 2 player at the athlete position in the 2020 class.
