In 2023, Williams, who is the Camels all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns, added 2,609 passing yards and 19 passing scores to his resume.. Williams was also a 2023 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team nominee.

Most notably, the six-foot, 205-pound quarterback was a 2022 All-Big Sky Third Team honoree, 2020 Preseason Big South Offensive Player of the Year, and a HERO Sports First-Team FCS Freshman All-American, along with being named the 2019 Big South Offensive Freshman of the Year. In 2019, Williams put together 2,042 passing yards, 17 passing touchdowns, nine interceptions, 664 rushing yards, and nine rushing touchdowns.

Now, the veteran collegiate quarterback will likely pull a lot of eyes for the 2024 campaign. The grad transfer and all-time Camels passing leader will be a big impact at his eventual landing spot.
