Clemson redshirt freshman cornerback Tavoy Feagin intends to enter the transfer portal, he tells Rivals.com.

"I just want to thank the Clemson staff and fans for supporting me," Feagin told Rivals.com's Adam Friedman.

Feagin played for the Tigers for one season under head coach Dabo Swinney, defensive coordinator Wes Goodwin, assistant head coach, co-special teams coordinator/ cornerbacks coach Mike Reed and the rest of the staff. However, Swinney announced in January that Goodwin would not be retained for 2025, and Clemson brought in Tom Allen as its new defensive coordinator.

Feagin appeared in two games for Clemson in 2024. He played in games against Appalachian State and The Citadel.

In two games played, Feagin played a total of 11 defensive snaps and did not record any statistics. He also recorded four snaps on special teams, according to Pro Football Focus.

He will have four years of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Feagin was considered a four-star cornerback prospect out of Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, Florida in the 2024 cycle.

As a recruit, Feagin ranked as the No. 177 overall prospect in the 2024 class. He also ranked as No. 23 cornerback and No. 30 player out of the state of Florida. Feagin had more than 50 scholarship offers coming out of high school.
