Colorado and new head coach Deion Sanders added more firepower from the transfer portal on Monday with the commitment of former Clemson linebacker LaVonta Bentley.

Bentley spent the last four seasons at Clemson, where he recorded 68 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks during his time with the Tigers.

This past season, he appeared in 13 games for Clemson, notching 21 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one sack.

Coming out of Jackson-Olin (Ala.) High School, Bentley was ranked a 5.8, four-star and the No. 179 player in the 2019 recruiting class.
