Colorado head coach Deion Sanders added another transfer piece from his old stomping grounds on Thursday in Jackson State safety Cam'ron Silmon-Craig.
Silmon-Craig has been a key piece to Jackson State's secondary this last two seasons.
In 2021, he led the team in interceptions (3) while recording 48 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks.
This past season, Silmon-Craig earned First-Team, All-SWAC honors after posting 63 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two interceptions.
He becomes the third member of Jackson State's program to transfer to Colorado, joining quarterback Shedeur Sanders, defensive back/wide receiver Travis Hunter, and offensive lineman Tyler Brown.
