Colorado never got to see what wide receiver Adrian Wilson could do and after Wednesday that won’t change now that the former four-star prospect has entered the transfer portal.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound speedster will have four years of eligibility remaining wherever he lands next.
He came to Boulder with a big reputation after starring at Weiss High School (Texas), posting 985 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns to help lead the Wolves to the Texas 5A playoffs in his senior season. His junior year was even better, posting 1,003 yards and scoring another 14 touchdowns.
Naturally, that had a who’s who of college football heavyweights hot on his trail, and Wilson fell in and out with a number of different programs.
Before signing with the Buffs, Wilson was once committed to Oregon, Arizona State and TCU.
