Dartmouth senior defensive lineman Josiah Green attacked last week in figuring out his future.
The 6-foot, 265-pounder officially visited NC State, Duke and Georgia Tech last week, and verbally committed to the Blue Devils on Wednesday.
Green held offers from NC State, Georgia Tech, Duke, New Mexico State, UTEP, UConn, Tennessee-Chattanooga, Nevada, Mercer, Samford, New Hampshire, South Carolina State, Bryant, Tennessee-Martin, North Carolina A&T, Murray State, Central Arkansas, East Tennessee State, Robert Morris, North Alabama and Western Illinois.
Green had 49 tackles, nine tackles for loss and three sacks this season. He had seven tackles in four different games, including seven stops, three tackles for loss and a sack at Yale on Oct. 12, 2024. Green had 120 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in 30 career games at Dartmouth.
Green was recruited by military colleges, regional schools, but also plenty of Ivy League colleges coming out Indianapolis (Ind.) North Central High. He had offers from Columbia, Pennsylvania, Brown, Navy, Air Force, but ended up picking Dartmouth.
Green had 60 tackles, seven forced fumbles, three sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss his senior year at North Central High.
