Dayvion McKnight exits the transfer portal with a commitment to Xavier
Dayvion McKnight, the fifth leading scorer in Conference USA this season, left the transfer portal by committing to Xavier Monday. He announced his decision on Twitter.

The former Western Kentucky guard averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and made 45.6 percent of his shot attempts this season – 33.9 percent beyond the arc. During his three-year career with the Hilltoppers, McKnight appeared in 94 games with 82 starts.
McKnight will be looked at to fill the void created by the graduation of Souley Boum who averaged 16.4 points, 4.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds this season while leading the Musketeers to a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Xavier was eliminated in a Regional Semifinal.
