The fifth year safety has only played in two games this season. Lawrence transferred to Ole Miss from Oklahoma prior to the start of this season. He played three seasons for the Sooners, logging 1,291 snaps, three interceptions, nine pass breakups, and 11 tackles according to PFF.

Lawrence signed with Tennessee as a member of the 2019 recruiting class. He played just one season for the Vols.
