Ex-four-star D'Antre Robinson settles on North Carolina

Florida freshman defensive lineman D’Antre Robinson has quickly found a home at North Carolina and new coach Bill Belichick.

The 6-foot-3, 303-pounder logged 162 snaps in 11 games (one start) per Pro Football Focus, and had a 56.5 grade, plus 54.6 on rush defense. He finished with 17 tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery.

Robinson had a season-high four tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss and half a sack in 27 snaps against Florida State.

Robinson, who played in the Army All-American Bowl, originally signed with Texas, but flipped to Florida in January of 2024. The Orlando (Fla.) Jones High standout was ranked No. 198 overall by Rivals.com in the nation, No. 33 overall in Florida and No. 14 defensive tackle nationally in the class of 2024. Robinson had an astonishing 63 scholarship offers.

Robinson was credited with 79 total tackles, including 10 sacks and nine tackles for loss and an interception for Jones High.

The winter college football transfer portal window opened on December 9th, 2024 for 20 days. There was also a five-day window for players to transfer after their team finished postseason play. Additionally, players get a 30-day window to transfer when their head coach leaves.
