Florida OL announces plan to transfer

Florida sophomore offensive lineman Joshua Braun announced his intention to leave the program via the transfer portal.

He made the announcement via his Instagram account.

Braun only appeared in two of seven games this season in a reserve role. In 2021 he started seven of the 13-games he appeared in at left and right guard. He didn't see action on the Gators offensive line until Florida's game against Eastern Washington (Oct. 2).

The 6-foot-6, 351-pounder committed to Georgia before flipping to the Florida. He chose the Gators over offers from Auburn, Florida State, Miami, Michigan and South Carolina.

Braun will be able to enter the NCAA transfer portal on Dec. 5.
