Mississippi State is adding a new quarterback to its roster, as Florida State transfer Luke Kromenhoek announced his commitment to the Bulldogs on Tuesday.
Kromenhoek spent just one season at FSU under head coach Mike Norvell. Notably, the Seminoles fired offensive coordinator Alex Atkins in November.
With three years of eligibility remaining, and a redshirt if needed, Kromenhoek will now continue his career under head coach Jeff Lebby and the rest of the Mississippi State staff.
The Bulldogs saw quarterbacks Michael Van Buren Jr. (now committed to LSU) and Chris Parson enter the portal this cycle.
As a true freshman, Kromenhoek appeared in six games for the Seminoles in 2024, including two starts. He completed 44 out of his 84 passing attempts (52%) for 502 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed 63 times for 113 yards.
According to Pro Football Focus, Kromenhoek played 235 total snaps and recorded an overall offensive grade of 63.1.
Kromenhoek was a four-star pro-style quarterback prospect out of Benedictine Military School in Georgia. He ranked as the No. 7 player at his position, No. 10 recruit in the state of Georgia and No. 96 overall prospect in the cycle.
