Former Ball State RB Carson Steele commits to UCLA
Chip Kelly added another key transfer piece to his UCLA roster on Wednesday morning as former Ball State running back Carson Steele announced his commitment to the Bruins.

In 2021, Steele made a splash as a true freshman at Ball State, rushing for 891 yards and six touchdowns while also recording 157 receiving yards out of the backfield.
This past season, Steele put up even bigger numbers, tallying 1,556 yards rushing with 14 touchdowns to go along with 166 receiving yards. He rushed for 100-plus yards in nine of his 12 games played.
