Former Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei heading to Oregon State

In three seasons at Clemson, Uiagalelei started 28 games. He threw for 5,681-yards, 36 touchdown passes and 17 interceptions, rushed for 913 yards and 15 more scores while completing 59.8 percent of his passes.

This past season, Uiagalelei had his best season statistically, throwing for 2,591 yards with 22 touchdowns and just seven interceptions while rushing for 545 yards and an addition seven scores.

However, it was an up-and-down 2022 campaign that saw Uiagalelei get benched on multiple occasions throughout the season in favor of Cade Klubnik. That included the first-half of the ACC Championship Game against North Carolina, where Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney would later name Klubnik the starting quarterback for the Tigers' Orange Bowl matchup against Tennessee.

Regardless of his struggles, that talent and production on the field is there, making Uiagalelei's decision to head to Corvallis a huge win for Oregon State and head coach Jonathan Smith.
