Former Georgia quarterback Jaden Rashada has found a new home out west, deciding to transfer to Brennan Marion and Sacramento State today. The 6-foot-4, 190-pounder will have three years of eligibility remaining with the Hornets.

Rashada first started off at Arizona State in 2023 and showed flashes of the four-star pro-style gunslinger from high school, completing 44-of-82 passes for 485 yards and four touchdowns in three starts before battling nagging injuries.

He then landed at Georgia, but didn’t get time under center with Carson Beck in tow and Gunner Stockton assuming the starting role in the SEC Championship game and the Sugar Bowl when Beck was injured.

Rashada made national headlines when he filed a lawsuit against Florida, head coach Billy Napier, and a major NIL booster, Hugh Hathcock last May, alleging that they defrauded him out of a promised $13.85 million NIL deal.

Rashada’s lawsuit is ongoing.

Now, he’ll try and turnaround a program that finished 3-9 last season and threw for 3,157 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2024.
