Former Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman didn't have to look far to find his next team. Houston is where the he'll suit up next season.
Weigman arrives at Houston with two years of eligibility remaining.
Weigman signed with Texas A&M in the 2022 class and played in five games with four starts as a freshman. He threw eight touchdowns in the those four starts and pulled off a massive upset win over No. 6 LSU.
Weigman entered 2023 with the spotlight on him but he only play in the first four games of the season before a season-ending injury. He was back and ready for the 2024 season but only started five games due to injury.
Marcel Reed took over as Texas A&M's starter in Weigman's absence and the Aggies are heading into 2025 with him under center.
The addition of Weigman is huge for Houston and head coach Willie Fritz. The Cougars won only four games this year but that's likely to change next season with Weigman at quarterback.
