LSU sored a big commitment in the middle on Saturday when former Virginia Tech center Braelin Moore pledged his allegiance to the Tigers.

Moore, a redshirt sophomore, manned the trenches at guard in 2023, but switched to center this season for the Hokies.

He was a part of a frontline that plowed the road for the Hokies to amass 2,245 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns and 2,313 passing yards and 13 touchdowns this season.

That’s undoubtedly music to Tigers’ offensive coordinator Joe Sloan’s ears.

The Tigers were the worst rushing team in the SEC this season, accounting for just 1,399 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Moore originally signed with the Hokies as a three-star prospect in 2022.
