A week after entering the transfer portal, former Virginia Tech quarterback Davi Belfort has found a new home at Central Florida. The 5-foot-11, 188-pounder will have all four years of eligibility remaining in Orlando.
Belfort’s best indicator of his capabilities came recently during the Hokies spring game, going 7-of-11 for 51 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 36 yards.
Despite being undersized, Belfort has always put up sizable numbers, amassing 3,115 total yards and 34 touchdowns, boasting a 67 percent completion rate his senior year.
Belfort, who is the son of MMA legend Vitor Belfort, was considered a four-star prospect in the Rivals 100.
Now, he joins an offense that threw for 2,396 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2024.
