Kirby Smart got a major boost to his offense for next season, securing a commitment from former Texas A&M wide receiver Noah Thomas. The 6-foot-6, 200-pounder will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Thomas’ combination of talent, size and experience will undoubtedly make him an instant impact player in Smart’s offense. Thomas should mesh well with former Southern Cal receiver Zachariah Branch, which the Bulldogs reeled in on Sunday.
If this year was any indication, Thomas will give Bulldogs fans will have a lot to cheer about in Athens.
Thomas posted 574 yards on 39 receptions and scored eight touchdowns for the Aggies. Despite battling nagging injuries throughout his three years at A&M, Thomas amassed 984 yards on 73 receptions and scored 15 touchdowns overall.
This season the Bulldogs boasted the No. 3 passing offense in the SEC, posting 3,934 yards and 281 a game.
