Georgia linebacker Samuel M’Pemba is planning to hit the transfer portal after two seasons in Athens. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound prospect will have three years of eligibility remaining after redshirting this season.

M’Pemba didn’t see much action at Georgia, but showed flashes, picking up 11 tackles in six games in 2023. He played in the first four games this season before redshirting.

As it stands, M’Pemba is the fifth Bulldog to enter the transfer portal thus far this cycle.

He will undoubtedly be a hot commodity going forward due to his athleticism and potential.

In high school he showed the full range of his versatility doubling as a tight end and halfback while still dominating the defensive side of the ball to the tune of 36 tackles, including 24 solo and 12 assists, to go along with 4.5 sacks for IMG Academy during his senior season.

A former five-star prospect who was ranked No. 10 overall in the Rivals 100 for 2023, M’Pemba signed with Georgia over interest and offers from Tennessee, Florida, Michigan and Miami, among many others.
