Massive news in the transfer portal broke on Thursday, as Georgia star quarterback Carson Beck intends to enter the transfer portal, according to Rivals national analyst John Garcia.

Beck spent five seasons with the Bulldogs under head coach Kirby Smart from 2020 through 2024.

He suffered a UCL injury in his right elbow during the 2024 SEC Championship game between Georgia and Texas on Dec. 7, 2024. He missed the Bulldogs' College Football Playoff game against Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2, which Georgia lost 23-10. He recently underwent surgery and is expected to miss spring football at his next destination.

On Dec. 28, 2024, Beck announced via social media that he will be entering the 2025 NFL Draft.

It appears Beck will now entertain all of his options. He will have one year of college eligibility remaining.

Sources tell Rivals that the three schools to watch are Miami (FL.), Oregon and Texas Tech. However, the word is that Beck's most likely landing spot is with the Hurricanes. Miami has passed on several other transfer portal quarterbacks and will be a serious contender for Beck.

In 13 games as a redshirt senior in 2024, Beck completed 290 out of his 448 passing attempts (65%) for 3,485 yards, 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He also added a rushing touchdown.

According to Pro Football Focus, Beck played 846 offensive snaps in 2024. He recorded the second-highest offensive grade for Georgia on the campaign with a mark of 81.2, behind only running back Trevor Etienne (82.3).

In 38 career games, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Beck threw for 7,912 yards, 58 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. He completed 628 out of his 923 passing attempts (68%). He also compiled 245 rushing yards and five additional scores on the ground.

Beck was a four-star pro-style quarterback prospect out of Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida in the class of 2020. He ranked as the No. 15 player at his position and No. 49 prospect in the state of Florida.
