Three weeks after his breakout game in a win over Tennessee, Georgia freshman wide receiver Nitro Tuggle tells Rivals he is entering the transfer portal. The 6-foot-2 athlete will have three years of eligibility left.

Tuggle caught two passes for a career-high 25 yards in the 31-17 win over the Vols on Nov. 16, but now he’s looking for greener pastures. His potential as an electric target, courtesy of his 4.4 speed, should have a who’s who list of powerhouses circling immediately.

Tuggle becomes the third Bulldog and second wide receiver to enter the transfer portal thus far. Michael Jackson III announced his transfer this past weekend.

The former four-star prospect in the 2024 class signed with Georgia over Auburn, Notre Dame, Penn State and Notre Dame, among others.

The winter college football transfer portal window is scheduled to open on December 9th, 2024 for 20 days. Additionally, players have a 30-day window to transfer when their head coach leaves. There is also a five-day window for players to transfer after their team has finished postseason play. A 10-day transfer window will open on April 16th as well.
