Last season, McCutchin played in all 14 games for the Trojans at mostly nickel and safety. He earned two starts against UCLA and Tulane in the Cotton Bowl while tallying 22 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery on the year.
McCutchin started his collegiate career at Oklahoma before following Lincoln Riley to Los Angeles. The Austin, Texas native was ranked the No. 79 prospect and No. 4 cornerback in the country in the 2021 recruiting class.
There is also a family connection to the Cougars as McCutchin's younger brother, Latreveion, is a freshman linebacker for Houston.
