Iowa lands Saginaw Valley State transfer OL Daijon Parker

After originally committing to Virginia in December, former Saginaw Valley State offensive lineman Daijon Parker flipped to Iowa on Saturday following an official visit with the Hawkeyes.

Parker, a Division II transfer, has one year of eligibility remaining after appearing in 21 games the past two seasons for Saginaw Valley State.

In 2022, SVSU went 8-3 and their running game ranked second in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with 2,289 yards. They were also third in total offense with 4,111 yards and third in scoring at 33.8 points per game.
