After a weekend visit to Baton Rouge, former Florida defensive end Jack Pyburn announced that he was committed to LSU on Monday. The 6-foot-3, 265-pound prospect chose LSU over Texas A&M.
Pyburn, who will have one year of eligibility remaining, had his best season this year for the Gators, racking up 60 tackles, including four tackles for loss. That's a welcomed addition for a defense that ranked No. 13 in the SEC against the run, giving up 1,759 yards this season.
That makes six transfer portal additions for Brian Kelly thus far this cycle.
Pyburn originally signed with the Gatros as a four-star prospect in the Rivals 100 for 2022.
