Former LSU safety Sage Ryan has found a new home, but is staying in the SEC. He has committed to Mississippi, according to reports. Ryan was in Oxford on Friday.

Ryan started his career in Baton Rouge in 2021 under then LSU head coach Ed Orgeron. He battled injuries that year and appeared in four games, which allowed him to redshirt. He played the 2022 through 2024 seasons under head coach Brian Kelly.

He will spend his final year of eligibility at Ole Miss under head coach Lane Kiffin, defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Pete Golding, co-defensive coordinator/secondary coach Bryan Brown, safeties coach Wes Neighbors III and the rest of the staff.
