Mario Cristobal added a much-needed boost to his secondary for next season, landing Washington State transfer Ethan O’Connor. The 6-foot-2, 176-pounder will have three years of eligibility remaining.

O'Connor appeared in all 12 games in 2024 and has racked up 32 total tackles and eight pass breakups in his career.

This season was a breakout campaign for O’Connor, who racked up four interceptions, making him one of the most feared corners in the league.

The addition of O’Connor could potentially upgrade a secondary that accounted for 14 interceptions and allowed 2.787 passing yards and 22 touchdowns this season.
