Michigan offensive tackle Andrew Gentry has officially entered the transfer portal, according to his social media post on Monday morning. The 6-foot-7, 32-pounder will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Gentry suffered a season-ending injury in October in a game against Michigan State after playing in all 15 games in 2023 and in three games in 2022.
In his most productive season in 2023, Gentry helped to anchor an offensive line that paved the way to amass 2,766 rushing yards and 40 touchdowns.
“I want to thank Coach Harbaugh and Coach Moore for giving me a chance to play at this incredible institution,” Gentry wrote in his post. “These past three seasons have been unforgettable.”
Gentry originally signed with Virginia but flipped to Michigan after a coaching change.
Gentry was the No. 68 overall in the 2020 class.
