Orji played in a total of 20 games for the Wolverines, three of which were in a starting role.

Orji has always been, arguably, the best athlete on the field, the questions surrounded his ability as a precision pocket passer.

From sprinter to high jumper to hooper to safety, receiver, punter and linebacker, Orji played it all at Sachse High School. The versatility was evident his senior year when he posted over 1,000 rushing yards and 2,000 passing yards (51 percent).

A former three-star prospect, Orji originally committed to Virginia Tech, but flipped to Michigan after the Hokies fired Justin Fuente.

Expect a who’s who of college football heavyweight to be lining up to put Orji at the controls.
