Mohamed Toure has gone through a few comebacks in his time, and now he’ll be doing it at Miami.

Toure signed with Rutgers in the class of 2019 out of Pleasantville (N.J.) High. He missed the 2022 season and 2024 due to ACL tears. In-between, he had 92 tackles, 4.5 sacks and one interception in 2023 for the Scarlet Knights.

Toure logged 37 games at Rutgers, and had 167 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks and two interceptions.

The former Rivals.com three-star prospect was ranked No. 31 overall in New Jersey in the class of 2019. He picked Rutgers over high-major offers from Boston College, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, UCF, Virginia, Wake Forest and Wisconsin.

Toure had 69 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and five sacks, plus 981 rushing yards and 11 scores his senior year.
