Campbell’s departure comes after a stellar year in Chapel Hill as the starting middle backer where he finished third on the team in tackles at 72 and tied for first in sacks with 6.5.

For his career as a Tar Heel, Campbell has posted 86 total tackles, 13 of which were for loss, and 7.5 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble.

Campbell was considered a three-star prospect in the 2023 class, originally picking North Carolina over West Virginia and Maryland.
