Trayvon Rudolph, a star wide receiver out of Northern Illinois, entered the transfer portal on December 4th: “I will be entering my name in the transfer portal with 2 (two) years of eligibility left. Let’s work!”.
Rudolph, a speedy receiver for the Huskies, is a three-time All-MAC selection, including his Third Team All-MAC recognition for his efforts through the 2023 campaign. Rudolph posted 46 receptions for 499 yards and two scores, adding 220 yards as a kick returner, through 12 games.
Before missing the 2022 season with a season-ending injury in preseason camp, Rudolph was named on the watch lists for the Biletnikoff Award and Paul Hornung Award, respectively. In 2021, Rudolph earned Second Team All-MAC as a wide receiver and a kickoff returner. He was also named a First Team All-MAC honoree by Pro Football Focus. Through his 2021 campaign, Rudolph accumulated 49 receptions for 877 yards and seven touchdowns, adding 351 yards and a touchdown on kickoff returns, through 13 contests.
In 2020, Rudolph was a Freshman All-American and Second Team All-MAC selection at kick returner. Rudolph pulled in 14 catches for 232 yards, adding 689 yards yards as a kickoff returner on 30 attempts.
Now, in the transfer portal, Rudolph will be a key target for teams looking for All-American special teams value and a speedy asset on the offensive side of the ball.
