Oklahoma State redshirt junior safety Kendal Daniels has elected to enter the transfer portal for his last year of college football.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Daniels has had a productive first three years at Oklahoma State. He had 64 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss and seven passes broken up this past fall for the 3-9 Cowboys. Daniels had a season-high 10 tackles in a 56-48 loss vs. Texas Tech on Nov.23.
Daniels had a monster 2023 season at Oklahoma State. He had 105 tackles, six tackles for loss and two interceptions in 14 games played. He toped 10-plus tackles in three games, including having 11 tackles apiece at West Virginia on Oct. 21, 2023, and at Central Florida in a 45-3 loss Nov. 11 Daniels was named honorable mention All-Big 12 from the league’s coaches.
Daniels earned freshman from the year by Big 12 coaches in 2022, after he tallied 71 tackles, seven tackles for loss and three interceptions.
Daniels was a Rivals.com four-star prospect coming out of Beggs (Okla.) High in the class of 2021. He was ranked No. 132 overall, No. 1 in Oklahoma and No. 9 safety nationally.
Daniels originally committed to Texas A&M over Oklahoma, Clemson and LSU, on Aug. 1, 2020. He eventually decommitted and asked out of his letter of intent. He flipped to Oklahoma State on March 1, 2021.

The winter college football transfer portal window is scheduled to open on December 9th, 2024 for 20 days. Additionally, players have a 30-day window to transfer when their head coach leaves. There is also a five-day window for players to transfer after their team has finished postseason play. A 10-day transfer window will open on April 16th as well.
