There is a Gundy in the transfer portal.

Oklahoma State quarterback Gunnar Gundy has entered his name into the transfer portal. The Cowboys haven’t been hit hard by the portal so far since Gundy is just the third player to enter from the school.

Gundy didn’t play much during his time on the team. This season he played in three games for the Cowboys, completing 61.8% of his passes for 202 yards and a touchdown.

The quarterback is now off to find a situation that will allow him to see more snaps. Garret Rangel and Zane Flores are two young quarterbacks on the roster with the potential to be the next starter. Maealiuaki Smith is a 2024 commit who will be in the mix for playing time.

Gundy came to Oklahoma State as a walk-on. He’s a graduate transfer that will be eligible immediately.
