The biggest name in the transfer portal is soon to be off the board. According to multiple reports, Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolen is expected to transfer to Ole Miss, adding another big win to Lane Kiffin’s offseason. Nolen, will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Rebels.
Over 12 games this season, Nolen has 8.5 tackles for a loss and 4.0 sacks as part of 37 total stops. The 6-foot-4 290-pound defensive lineman joined the Aggies as the No. 2 overall player in the 2022 class. He is the No. 1 player in the Rivals Transfer Tracker.
Nolen added to Ole Miss’ already-loaded list of transfer commitments this cycle. The Rebels now have commitments from five top-50 transfers, including Nolen (No. 1), defensive lineman Princely Umanmielen (No. 10), receiver Antwane “Juice” Wells (No. 19), defensive back Key Lawrence (No. 34) and linebacker Chris Paul Jr. (No. 45).
