After bringing in 17 college transfers last offseason, Ole Miss began business in the portal again Thursday, receiving a commitment from Central Florida linebacker Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound defender finished third on UCF with 52 tackles. He recorded five stops for a loss with a sack and registered four pass breakups, a quarterback hurry and a forced fumble.

Over four seasons with the Knights, Jean-Baptiste recorded a combined 152 tackles, including 14 stops for a loss with two sacks, to go with seven passes defended, two forced fumbles and an interception.

Jean-Baptiste was a two-star recruit in the 2019 class. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
