Former Arkansas offensive lineman Patrick Kutas committed to Mississippi on Friday.

Injuries limited the 6-foot-5, 313-pound Kutas to four games and 230 snaps this past fall, and he was able to redshirt. He had a Pro Football Focus grade of 69.6.

Kuta’s broke into the starting lineup his sophomore year in 2023, starting nine games before an injury ended his season. He played right tackle and even got a start at center.

Kutas was a Rivals.com three-star prospect coming out of Memphis (Tenn.) Christian Brothers High in the class of 2022. He was No. 19 overall in Tennessee and No. 52 tackle nationally.

Kuta’s narrowed his recruitment to Florida State, Illinois, Oregon and Arkansas, before picking the Razorbacks. He also had high-major offers from Arizona State, Louisville, Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech.
